Well I have some stories to tell you.
I’ve just got back from a two week soiree around the good old US of A. My wife and I had been planning the trip for over a year, so it was nice to finally get going. And yes, we did visit Las Vegas (but I’ll do a proper blog about that in the next few weeks).
Our flight left from Heathrow Airport at silly o’ clock in the morning, so we decided to rent a hotel in London for a few days. This gave me ample opportunity to sample the local casinos around the capital. I’ve always wanted to play blackjack in the middle of England’s finest city!
Here’s what I managed to fit in:
The Ritz
The Ritz – 150 Piccadilly – is such a grand old casino. It has a great atmosphere and is perfect for a few quick hands of blackjack. Sadly, luck wasn’t with me during my time here. Although, I did manage to pull off a last minute win to recoup my losses (and a little more!).
The Victoria Casino
The Victoria Casino – 150 Edgeware Road – is famous for having one of the largest poker rooms in Europe. It can fit in over 250 players! Thankfully, the blackjack tables were much more quiet. Won a nice little sum here and would highly recommend this casino for the vibrant atmosphere.
Fifty Casino
Fifty Casino has a very refined atmosphere. This is a swish casino on St James’s Street and although I was wearing my best blackjack suit, I still felt underdressed. Maybe I could buy a new one with my winnings
Aspinall’s
Sadly, I didn’t have time to fit into Aspinall’s – the exclusive casino in Mayfair. I did however, get to take some photographs.

That’s it from me for now. I’ll be back soon with more details about my USA vacation.
Keep on hitting!
